About Grandma Wild's
The original Wild’s Bakery was established circa 1899 in the Victorian seaside resort of Morecambe, Lancashire. Annie Wild ran the bakery shop and boarding house (today’s bed and breakfast) whilst being a full-time mother to three boys.
Her eldest son John Wild decided to move back to his Yorkshire roots in the 1920s, away from the seasonal summer trade, where he and Annie opened a shop in Haworth. It is here they started to build on the heritage of Grandma Wild’s special baking recipes.
In 1928 he bought larger premises just outside Haworth and this remained the family bakery until the beginning of the new Millennium, when it moved to a new site in Steeton, West Yorkshire.
From these humble beginnings the business has grown in size; however, today’s business holds true to the traditional family values and commitment of its founder, Grandma Annie Wild, all those years ago.

We ship the day of, or the day after receiving your order, no later.
Irish Deliveries are usually made within 24 hours of shipping, excluding weekends and bank holidays.
Please include a phone number with the shipping address. This helps the driver make sure your parcel is delivered to the right address in cases where nobody is home etc.
Tracking numbers will be provided in your Order Confirmation email. You can use this to track the status of the delivery.
